Daniel
Cranor, the owner, has been roofing homes for
over 17 years. He started roofing in Tulsa
Oklahoma where there are some of the worst
weather conditions and storms in the country.
Tulsa was a great place to learn since Oklahoma
is called tornado ally. They get every kind of
storm you can imagine: twisters, hail,
ice, hard rain, electrical storms, snow, sleet
and some of the highest winds in the country.
So when you put a roof on there it better be
right. Daniel worked for Alwine Roofing Co. in Tulsa for 3
years. He ran a crew and became an expert in all
kinds of roof systems: asphalt, cedar shake,
singles, wood singles, tile and slate. Oklahoma
has completely different standards than Georgia.
Daniel was surprised when he came back to Atlanta and
found that there were no qualifications for the roofing
industry. In 1994 he started his own company using
the same methods that he used in Tulsa which he still
